Definition of Past Perfect Tense
The Past Perfect tense is used when we are talking about the past and want to mention something that happened earlier. for example, He had reached there by then., The train had left before 6 am.
Affirmative Sentences
Form: Subject + Had + V3 + Other Words.
Examples:
- I had eaten my meal.

Negative Sentences
Form: Subject + Had + Not + V3 + Other Words.
